MV Trade is a company engaged in the trade and representation of outdoor activity items. Its main activity is the wholesale and development on the Greek and Cypriot market of foreign brands in the wider field of outdoor activities and skiing.

MV Trade was founded in 2008 and evolved into its new form and composition in July 2020, engaging in the wholesale of outdoor activity items, but in reality has a past of 20 years in sales, as two friends, Manolis Sideris and Vasilis Kokkotis, collaborated to market joint ventures through their physical stores, to share and reflect on common ideas and values.

Wholesale partner network
We have built a large-scale network of stores that we supply throughout Greece, which is constantly growing. It includes Ski, Mountaineering, Sporting, Hunting and Military Stores, as well as Fitness Studios.

Retail outlets
Our Company is building a network of stores, including physical, electronic and shop-in-shop stores that meet the right operating standards and promotion rules of the brands we represent.

Our vision
What does the word «Vision» or «Mission» mean to a company?

No matter how eloquently and well-written one writes, the simple assumption that applies to all businesses is one: «an association of people with a common goal, which in a free economy is called profit».

What differentiates us as a company is based on two key factors:

Firstly, we honestly state our obvious goal without visions... and missions

Secondly, we define the concept of profit not as an individual (or worse, individualistic) issue, but as a collective one. For this reason, we strive for a very delicate balance through our market presence: all our partners, suppliers, clients (traders) but also the end consumer should be sufficiently satisfied in the end. This requires all of the above to have rational expectations so that no one benefits at the expense of anyone else, but somehow everyone wins and "smiles" accordingly.

  • Manufacturing companies should have good sales in our market and be paid on time.
  • The stores we supply should be offered good service, deals and good profit margins.
  • In order to reach the end consumer who should find quality products at the best prices in line with the market (Value for Money).
  • Above all, we want the people working in our company to be equally satisfied with the working conditions, the working environment and, most importantly, their salary.

In an admittedly «tough and competitive economic system», we have the duty and goal to make it more bearable and profitable for everyone we work with.

Even those we usually forget about and who are usually the real sufferers of all this global trade. The Asian workers in the production units, who are usually poorly paid and work long hours in poor conditions, so that we can find the products on the shelves at attractive prices and with a profit for the entire group mentioned above, up to the end consumer.

So essentially, when we talk about a vision and a goal, it's to somehow give up a small portion of our profits to demand that these people live better and get paid better. It is no coincidence that our company works with several companies based and manufacturing in European countries, mainly in Spain (Chiruca), Italy (Fizan, Nordica) and the Czech Republic (Lasting), where working conditions are clearly better in all areas.
